Las Fotos Project's community Foto Walk invites new and experienced teen photographers to collaborate while exploring different areas of the city. Attendees will be provided with prompts to encourage collaboration and creativity, and participants will receive support from peers and mentors along the way.
Thalía Gochez (born in Pasadena, California) is the 2021 Fotos Awards Editorial Awardee, and a self-taught Salvadoran Mexican American visual artist based in Los Angeles. Her work aims to uplift and amplify various BIPOC identities, especially Latinx women, through subject-led storytelling photographs and vibrant, stylized portraits. Gochez’s work is featured on the cover of Aperture magazine’s Winter 2021 issue, “Latinx.”
