Esta Soy Yo offers a space for our students to use photography as the basis for self-exploration. This semester, students reflected on the intersectionality of their identities and how they’re represented in their families, in loved ones, in memories, and even in tangible objects. Presenting these reflections and expressions in their many shapes and forms via photobooks and mixed media pieces, our students begin their own journeys of growth as they’re grounded in what they value and where they gain their strength.
Esta Soy Yo ofrece un espacio para que nuestros alumnos utilicen la fotografía como base para la autoexploración. Este semestre, los estudiantes reflexionaron sobre la interseccionalidad de sus identidades y cómo se representan en sus familias, seres queridos, recuerdos e incluso en objetos tangibles. Presentando estas reflexiones y expresiones en sus múltiples formas a través de fotolibros y piezas de medios mixtos, nuestros estudiantes comienzan sus propios viajes de crecimiento a medida que se basan en lo que valoran y donde obtienen su fuerza.
