Community Double Exposures
Double Exposure by Alma
Spring 2016
Students used a single 35mm roll of color negative film, creating a series of images of their community. Then they sent that roll of film to a friend at a partner site who re-shot the roll. The end product is a beautiful set of random double exposure images combining the two communities. Youth from four different cities participated in this project, Los Angeles, CA; Brattleboro, VT; Portland, OR; and Tijuana, Mexico.
