Bigote y Flores by Fabiola Lopez

Student Solo Exhibition 2019, Let Boys Be

“Jose Hernandez confidently poses for the camera in his jewelry and accessories. He believes it is important to be able to express yourself in any way you want, without the judgment of others. Jose felt a connection to the theme of “Let Boys Be” because, as a kid, he didn’t have the freedom to express himself due to his somewhat conservative family. As he grew older, he was able to gain more confidence in how he presents himself and now he takes delight in any opportunities to show off his unique and “feminine” style. “
