- OUR PROGRAMS -

Las Fotos Project’s staunch belief in art's power to transform not only the individual, but also society as a whole forms the foundation of our work.

A self-exploration program that practices therapeutic photography to support students with finding their voice while building self-confidence and self-efficacy.

Utilizing photojournalism as a tool for youth leadership, students learn to raise awareness about social issues and health disparities in their community through storytelling and social media.

Creative Entrepreneurship Opportunities is our social enterprise and apprenticeship program which provides teen girls with valuable entrepreneurial skills for future careers in the creative industry.

AGE OF CHANGE,A FOTO BOOK

Support our programs and celebrate 10 Years of creativity, exploration and self-expression with Las Fotos Project's first photography publication! Over the course of a decade, Las Fotos Project students in our various programs have documented themselves and their surroundings, offering a unique perspective of the world through the eyes of teenage girls. Their resulting images have created a beautiful visual tapestry which spans from Los Angeles to Guatemala.

COVID-19 Update

The health of our students, staff and mentors - as well as their families - are extremely important to us. We’re following the recommendations made the CDC, state and city leadership. We have resumed some in-person programming in a limited capacity and continue to have virtual programming available as well. All students and staff are required to wear a mask while they are engaged in any in-person activities. We thank all of those who have reached out to check on the well-being of our students and have offered support.
