California People of Color Leadership Fund recognizes the financial and institutional hardships that come with being a person of color that is pursuing higher education. As such, our eligibility requirements are as follows.

Scholarships/Stipends are for students of color.

The applicant must be a resident of California, but does not have to be attending a university in California.

The student must be a first-time freshman or transferring to a 4-year institution from a junior college.

There is no GPA requirement.

Applicants who demonstrate a commitment towards diversity, equity and justice will be given preference.
