Glitch

I simultaneously gained a traditional education and one from the world around me. In my art, I was taught about Henri Cartier Bresson and Henry Fox Talbot but, at home, my family preferred D-Face and Ben Eine. At school, we talked about Kanye, shopping, and money, but after school, when I went back home in what they referred to as “real Los Angeles,” we talked about Cuco, love, and weekend plans. Like a glitch, I was able to flip back and forth between these predetermined cultural dialects.
